My husband and I don't usually post reviews however Steve at Polar Air is an exception. Steve recently took great care about our air conditioning needs. My husband called Steve for an estimate because our system was about 23 years old and we were getting ready to replace it. Steve came over checked the system out and sent us a quote. Two days later the air conditioner went out and called him to see how quick he could put a new system in. Steve asked why because our system was still working and told him it died two days ago while out of town. Steve asked my husband if he was home and he'd be over in 30 minutes to see if he could get it to work before the weekend! After an hour he got the system working and we had air for the weekend. On Monday morning Steve ordered the system and parts. He arrived exactly on time, Tuesday at 8:30 am with his son and put the new system in. My husband has been in customer sales for over 40 years Steve is the most honest person he has come across in years. No up sales just the truth. My husband has only recommend two other people in his life and both of us would highly recommended Polor Air Services. This is the only review my husband has ever written!

My family has been working with Polar Air for the better part of 25 years, and Steve is about as good as it gets when it comes to professional, knowledgable, and pleasant contractors. His knowledge of HVAC and its ancillary components is extremely comprehensive. I've used Polar Air for two very different projects and been very happy with Steve's service. He has rerouted an old gas line that was becoming exposed in the yard to a flexible line under the house. Also, much to my surprise, while discussing things I needed to do around the house I mentioned I needed to replace my old rotting deck. He gave me an estimate and built me a Trex deck with bench seating all around. It's fabulous and gets many compliments from friends who see it! I would definitely recommend Polar Air!

I found out about this company from a good friend who was very happy with the service he performed on a difficult Eichler style home home in Walnut Creek. I have used his service twice now for 2 projects. The one that especially impressed me was when I called him out for both a new floor vent installation in a newly remodeled master bedroom that required a custom sheet metal vent. I also asked if they could take a look at a situation I had on the new roof structure where a valley ended near a chimney. I said I thought it need a special cricket made to make sure it remained water tight. He agreed and to my surprise he had it made over night and installed it the next day. The roof went on smoothly after that and works great. Thanks Polar Air, you're awesome!
